Bean's Star
The "Bean's Star" make-a-long is a ZIP file that contains project patterns, templates, printables, and the original story of "Bean's Star!" Patterns and projects are PDF files, with one or two .svg files thrown in to make life easy for Cricut users.
When you buy this pattern pack, you'll have all of the printables, templates, and photo-detailed instructions you need to create the 1:24 scale roombox (Bean's bedroom) that you see in this photo. The instruction sheet lists materials and supplies that you need to complete the project, which also links to our Tools and Supplies reference page where you can find information about where to buy certain items (or what they are!).
Patterns are numbered in sequential order to help you complete each project in an order that makes assembling the storybox a snap.
In addition to the patterns and project sheets for the miniature room box, this also includes three character sheets that you can use (in combination with Cynthia Treen's free DIY Holiday Mouse pattern) to create the characters in this story - Bean, PawPaw, and Finch! Character sheets come with patterns for their accessories (such as PawPaw's vest and paper, Bean's suitcase and astronomy book, and Finch's fishing poles, pier, and basket!). A QR code leading you to Cynthia's pattern is also included in each project sheet.

Each project sheet has detailed instructions and supply lists (which link to our website where you can learn where to buy any supplies or materials you might need). It also has templates and printables that you can use to complete the projects.
The best part about our storyboxes, is that they illustrate a scene from the ORIGINAL (no AI) story that accompanies the storybox. This 22-page story, illustrated with toy photography, is about Bean, a little mouse who stumbles upon PawPaw's mossy log in the woods. Together they discover the power of love and family.
