The time has come for my latest make-a-long!  This is the first in my Mini Mashup series - which are storyboxes that include characters from different scales and story lines in a single storybox.

This particular storybox is a 1:12 scale roombox (8" x 8") that includes a 1:24 scale DIY Holiday Mouse by Cynthia Treen (the mice used in our Grass Lake Mice series). As with all of my other storybox make-a-longs, you'll be making the project in pieces, with new patterns posting on my Patreon page throughout Nov and Dec (up until Dec 21).

I will also be making this storybox in mat board, in a similar construction method that I used for Bean's Star. The mat board I use is 1.5 mm thick and is easy for me to cut with a craft knife (I have examples on my Tools and Supplies page). However, if you'd rather use bass or balsa wood in this thickness, that would work too!

I will include printables that you can use for the floor and wallpaper and various accessories. I typically print these out using the photo print settings (best quality setting available on your printer) on matte photo paper or white cardstock, and adhere them with double sided adhesive sheets.
